British designer Alexander McQueen began life in the fashion industry at the age of 16 when he was offered an apprenticeship at the traditional Saville Row tailors, Anderson and Shephard. In 1994 he completed a Masters degree in Fashion Design,at St. Martins lane and has since become one of the most famous and respected international fashion designers in the world.
