I discovered a love of shopping when I was nine years old, on a family vacation to Hungary, My parents gave me some pocket money to spend at the markets and even with a massive language barrier, I quickly learnt how to bargain, convert currency and know the true value of my fortune in hand. I bought as many peasant tops and ungarian dolls as I could.I still love buying unique and original pieces. But because I have more access than ever to re-invent myself, my desire to stand out from the crowd has diminished. Being comfortable (whilst still feeling individual, fabulous and glamourous) is paramount. My favourite labels include Comme des Garcons, Junya Watanabe and Vivienne Westwood.I love shopping for Parlour X. I practically live for my overseas buying trips. I consider myself to be one of the luckiest shopaholics as I get to buy all my favourite brands.To me, fashion and personal styling are forms of creativity and self-expression.When shopping, think trans-seasonal and understand layering. Recreate outfits through the seasons by accessorising and adding different coloured scarves, stockings, long-sleeved tops and shoes. You'd be surprised how many new and different looks you can create based on the same garment
