Name your favourite shopping haunts?

L'Eclaireur on Rue de Rosiers is my favourite boutique in Paris.  London's Dover Street Market has to be the coolest store in the world.  In Sydney I love Poepke.

What about your favourite labels?

Azzedine Alaia for his iconic, classic sense of feminity.  Balenciaga for its futuristic yet retro references.  Junya Watanabe for Comme des Garcons.

What should be in our winter wardrobes?

Lots of layers.  Cardigans in all shapes.  Also over-sized blazers with dresses or leggings.

Confess your latest fashion purchase?

The new Balenciaga Giant Pom Pon bag.

What travel items can you not leave home without?

My current favourite little black dress.  Plus at least one pair of high, high heels, black jeans, a blazer, leggings, scarf and beanie.

When I was about 11 I had a huge selection of colourful fluorescent socks that I wore with absolutely everything.

Who is your ulitmate style icon?

Lee Miller, the photographer, model and muse.  Her exceptional beauty, grace and distinct sense of style aside, she actively pushed vocational boundaries and was ahead of her time.

What's your favourite beauty brand?

Korner Skincare is the ultimate in luxury.

What's your hot tip for taking a LBD from daywear to evening glamour?

Add a large Tom Binns neckpiece or chandelier diamond earrings and a high pair of jewelled open strapped shoes.
